James Fehon is a 22 year old online campaigner, student, student editor, photographer, and Amnesty International (Sydney office) fixture,

He volunteers with the Australian section and Asia Pacific regional offices of Amnesty International and has been active within the movement since 2004. He is a member of a number of governance and advisory committee’s within the organisation has particular interest in forms of campaigning, activism and making change online, youth engagement and human rights innovation.

In addition to working with Amnesty International, James contributes the skills developing in his Photography studies, in Web Development and those gained through his activist experience, to a number of organisations including the Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby, Vibewire Youth Inc. and the Asia Pacific Youth Network.

He’s an editor of Tharunka the University of New South Wales newspaper and is working to establish a strong student media movement within Australia.
